A Legacy of Compassion:
Tracie's dedication to Paw Warriors is unwavering. She has poured her heart and soul into this organization, ensuring that every cat receives the love, care, and attention they deserve. Her tireless efforts have saved countless lives and made a profound impact on the lives of countless animals in need.
Tracie's journey as an animal advocate began long before Paw Warriors was even a dream. In 2008, she started rescuing cats on her own, providing shelter for 12 felines in her garage.
In 2010, Tracie coined the name "Paw Warriors," a fitting moniker for the brave cats she was rescuing and the dedicated volunteers who would eventually join her cause.
On April 11, 2011, Tracie took a significant step forward by filing Articles of Incorporation with the State of Florida, officially establishing Paw Warriors. This marked a pivotal moment in her journey to create a safe haven for rescued cats.
In 2014, Tracie obtained the property at 355 Spring Street in Spring Hill, FL, which would eventually become the heart of Paw Warriors. This property, now known as Misfit Acres, would provide a safe and loving home for countless cats.
On February 2, 2015, Paw Warriors achieved 501(c)(3) non-profit status, solidifying its commitment to serving the community and providing the highest quality care for rescued animals.
